Corporate Lawyer
/ Staff Attorney

Want
to practice Law instead of tracking client minutes?
Our expansion into new and ever changing
areas of technology coupled with our increased presence in larger Public
and Private Sector organizations has created several ongoing
requirements for increased legal expertise in many disciplines such as
Contract Law, Employment Law, General Municipal Law, etc… as well as
General Practice. Outsourcing this function completely is no longer
practical, especially in consideration of the responsiveness we require
and the additional support we will need to grow and complete a series of
acquisitions planned for 2005 and beyond.
This senior staff position will report
directly to the President and be primarily responsible for personally
handling all contractual matters as well as most legal reviews, filings
and corporate litigation in New York courts at all levels. Monitoring changes in
laws at Federal, State and Local levels that directly affect our
industry or technology will be the only routine aspect of this position.
In fact, the ideal candidate will also have a strong interest in
business and information technology and be able to act as a general
counsel and business development consultant to the President and company
owners. This is not a position for an attorney that finds basic pleadings and motions to be a challenging career.
Since we recognize that our success is
literally dependant upon yours, we will provide premier infrastructure
and support mechanisms appropriate to your assigned tasks, including the
best technology and research resources currently available on the
market. Where it is appropriate to outsource, you’ll benefit from our
relationships with some of the largest firms in New York State.
This is a full time, salaried position with excellent company benefits
including paid medical, personal time, vacation time, holidays,
training, etc… Other fringes and perks can be negotiated depending
upon your expertise and qualifications. Acquisition of your existing
practice will be considered if appropriate, but our primary focus is to
find someone who can devote their attention to being extremely
responsive to our growing and changing needs.
Please submit your resume, compensation history and any appropriate
disclaimers in complete confidence directly to our company President. In
addition to an explanation of relevant expertise, your cover letter
should also address availability and any ongoing commitments or
obligations that could carry over to your position with our company. |
